UN-Packaging
When handling and transporting dangerous substances, their packaging must be safe and approved in accordance with regulations.
UN-Packaging for the transport of dangerous goods
The transport of dangerous goods requires packaging that meets established standards. We tailor suitable packaging from plywood or wood, either with a fixed or foldable structure. We also take care of the testing and approval process on your behalf.
In addition, we offer four foldable plywood UN packages as part of our standard range. These packages meet the UN approval requirements for 4D-type dangerous goods transport packaging. They are suitable for use in road, rail, sea, and air transport, both in Finland and internationally. Approved packages can be used as outer packaging for substances in packaging groups I, II, and III. The substances packed may include various solid dangerous goods.
UN standard range
Our range consists of four different plywood package sizes in terms of length and width, with variable heights as specified below. The raw material used is 6 mm birch plywood for UN 4, UN 6, and UN 8, and 8 mm birch plywood for UN 12.
